Looking to buy a car for 2500 HELP?

Okay I have $2500, yes im a teenager 17. Just graduated, entering college. I need a good ecnomical car worth the $1000-$2500 price range used car. One that wont waste gas. I sorta like a big car but can%26#039;t find one 4 cylinders. Is an Mitsubishi Eclipse a good car? I know civics are, but there kind of ugly. Any suggestions?

i wouldnt be so concerned bout what the car looks like if all you have to spend is 2,500$. trust me, im trying to find a car now for that price, and nothing you find will be %26quot;pretty%26quot;. all that matters is that its safe, reliable, and wont fall apart.

if you like big cars.... look at the smaller 6 cylinder ones. luminas and monte carlos are smaller 6 cylinders.

Reply:I guess you should also check insurance quotes for the car before buying one, for example here: http://carinsurance.enacre.net

Such very cheap used cars usually have very high insurance rates.
